For students under the age of 15 that have an underlying learning disability or similar learning difficulties, Joliette High School offers the option of the Diversified Path program.

Students in Diversified Path do not follow the regular curriculum. Instead, teachers have the freedom to meet the individual needs of each of their students.

Teachers also prepare them for WOTP (work oriented training path), and students enter the program once they are 15 years of age at the start of the school year.

Please note that we require official diagnoses of disabilities that hinder learning for students that wish to be admitted to DP. Each application goes through a review process – involving the school, school board, and parents – before being accepted.
